What the 120 days look like
A protocol with
a real shape.
Most wellness programs give you a starting line and leave you alone. This one checks in at the moments that matter.
Day 1
Everything arrives in your inbox
Your roadmap, starting menu, movement protocol, and Substrate Shift Guide, delivered immediately after purchase. You can start the same day.
Days 1–14
The substrate shift begins
You're replacing the fats in your kitchen, starting your first food protocol week, and building the habits that will carry you through the full 120 days. Most people notice changes in sleep and energy before they notice anything else.
Day 14: first check-in
"How are you feeling?"
A short email from Noel asking one specific question. Reply with what's happening: questions, observations, friction points. You'll get a real response.
Day 30: second check-in
One month in
By now most people have found their rhythm with the food protocol. The check-in helps you assess what's working, recalibrate if needed, and understand what the next 60 days are for.
Day 60: third check-in
Halfway
The midpoint. The biology is shifting. The check-in addresses the most common question at this stage: how do I know it's working? The answer involves understanding what to pay attention to.
Day 90: fourth check-in
The measurable window opens
At 90 days, an RBC omega-3 index test can confirm that your membrane composition has shifted. The check-in explains what to test, where to test it, and how to read the result. This is the finish line.
Day 120
Endogenous sufficiency
The goal: a body that regulates itself. Not because you're doing everything perfectly, but because your cell membranes are built from the right materials. The protocol doesn't end here. It becomes your default.
You choose
how you eat.
The biology doesn't care which food tradition you come from. Eight starting menus, each built around the same substrate priorities. Pick the one that feels like home, or the one that feels most doable.
Grass-Fed Anchor ← start here if unsure
Hawaiian / Pacific
Filipino
Japanese / Okinawan
Mediterranean
Vietnamese
Nicoya / Costa Rican
Sardinian / Ikarian
Each menu follows the same five substrate priorities. Different cuisines, same biology. You can rotate between menus after your first week.
Honest answers to the questions people actually ask.
Is this a supplement program?
No. The 120-Day Starter Kit is built entirely around food, specifically the quality of dietary fat you eat. No supplements are required. Algae-sourced DHA/EPA is optionally discussed in the guide as a substrate supplement (not a signal booster), but it's never required to complete the protocol.
What if I don't like any of the cultural food protocols?
The Grass-Fed Anchor week is designed exactly for this: grass-fed beef, wild salmon, pastured eggs, olive oil, sweet potato, dark leafy greens. It's familiar American food built around the same substrate priorities as every other menu. Most people who "don't do ethnic food" do just fine here.
Do I need to have taken the free Blueprint first?
Recommended but not required. The Blueprint maps where you are in the depletion arc and helps personalize your roadmap. If you haven't taken it,
take it now, it's free and takes five minutes. If you've already taken it, your Starter Kit is built around those answers.
What does "self-guided" mean here?
It means the protocol is structured: you have a roadmap, a menu, a movement guide, and milestone check-ins, but nobody is scheduling calls with you or monitoring your meals daily. You follow the protocol at your own pace, with check-ins at the moments that tend to matter. If you want one-on-one coaching, that's a different offering:
see the coaching page.
What are the check-in emails exactly?
Four emails from Noel, timed to days 14, 30, 60, and 90. Each one asks a specific question about how you're feeling at that point in the protocol. They're not automated sequences. If you reply, Noel reads it and responds. This is the practice, not a funnel.
How is this different from just reading the Substrate Shift Guide?
The Substrate Shift Guide tells you what to do and why. The 120-Day Starter Kit gives you the structure to actually do it: in what order, over what timeline, with personalization to your health picture and check-ins to keep you on track. The guide is the map. The kit is the guided expedition.
What if I have a diagnosed condition or take prescription medications?
The 120-Day Starter Kit is educational, not medical. Everything here is food-based and designed to support your body's existing systems, not to treat, diagnose, or replace medical care. If you're managing a diagnosed condition or taking prescription medications, consult your healthcare provider before making changes to your protocol. We're happy to answer questions at
