What we mean when we label a claim, and what this practice does and does not address.
Every scientific claim published by Remedius Remigio carries one of three confidence labels. These are editorial standards applied by our team, not AI-generated ratings. They exist so you can assess the strength of any claim yourself, without having to take our word for it.
Remedius Remigio is a health education and navigation practice. Our content is built around three areas of science: dietary fat quality and its relationship to cell membrane composition, the endocannabinoid system as a regulatory network built into those membranes, and the lifestyle inputs (sleep, movement, stress, gut health) that support the body's own production of regulatory molecules.
Nothing in our content references, recommends, or implies the use of any controlled substance, prescription drug, or illegal compound. The endocannabinoid system was identified in the early 1990s through cannabis research, but this practice addresses it entirely through dietary substrate and lifestyle. Our content does not constitute medical advice and does not replace care from a qualified healthcare provider.
We apply one of three labels to every scientific claim across our posts, guides, and coaching materials. Here is what each one means.
The mechanism or finding is directly supported by peer-reviewed human research. Multiple independent studies have examined it. The scientific consensus treats it as well-supported. We cite it as a factual foundation.
Example: EPA and DHA from dietary fish incorporate into cell membrane phospholipids within the 90 to 120-day red blood cell turnover window. This is documented in clinical research and forms the biological basis of the RBC omega-3 index test used in cardiovascular and neurological medicine.
The mechanism is real and well-supported at every link in the chain, but direct clinical evidence specifically connecting the dietary input to the final outcome in controlled human trials is still developing. This is the most common category in our content because the endocannabinoid system and lipid substrate research is an active field where cell-level and animal-model evidence often precedes large human trials.
Example: Dietary omega-3 status supporting more efficient endocannabinoid synthesis from membrane phospholipids. Each step is established (omega-3 incorporates into membranes; membranes are the substrate for endocannabinoid synthesis; endocannabinoid synthesis governs inflammatory resolution). The full chain connecting a specific dietary change to a measurable clinical outcome in a controlled human trial is still being established.
A scientifically coherent conclusion drawn from established mechanisms. The reasoning follows logically from what is known, but the specific claim has not yet been confirmed in controlled human trials. We flag these explicitly so readers understand they represent our best current interpretation of the evidence, not a finding that has been directly tested.
Example: The proposal that improving dietary fat quality over 120 days meaningfully improves endocannabinoid tone in ways a person would notice in daily life. The mechanism supports this expectation and clinical observation is consistent with it, but no large randomized controlled trial has directly measured this as a primary outcome.
The wellness industry largely does not distinguish between these categories. Inferential claims are routinely presented as established facts. Mechanistic arguments are marketed as proven therapies. This is one of the primary reasons people lose trust in health content generally, and it is one of the things this practice is built to do differently.
These labels are not a hedge or a disclaimer. They are an invitation. A reader who sees ESTABLISHED knows they can look up the underlying research and find it. A reader who sees INFERENTIAL knows they are reading a reasoned argument, not a proven finding, and can weigh it accordingly.
We apply these labels to everything: the posts that are free to read, the guides available for purchase, and the coaching materials used in individual client work. The standard does not change based on whether money has changed hands.
No content published by Remedius Remigio recommends, implies, or discusses the use of cannabis, CBD, THC, or any other cannabinoid compound as a protocol step. Our approach is built entirely on dietary fat quality, lifestyle inputs, and the body's own endogenous production capacity.
We publish a meaningful amount of MECHANISTICALLY SOUND content because the science of the endocannabinoid system is genuinely active and evolving. We publish some INFERENTIAL content because we believe the mechanistic case is strong enough to be useful even where direct human trial evidence is not yet complete. We label all of it clearly so you can decide for yourself.
Remedius Remigio is a health education and navigation practice, not a clinical practice. Noel Remigio is an educator and navigator, not a physician, licensed dietitian, or clinician. Nothing published or communicated by this practice constitutes a diagnosis, a treatment plan, or a clinical recommendation.
The role of this practice is to translate the science of lipid biology and the endocannabinoid system into plain language, help individuals understand where their body is in relation to that science, and support informed conversations between clients and their healthcare providers. Our work is complementary to medical care, never a substitute for it.
